Sort Master — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Summary
Sort Master does not ask for your name, email or any account, and we do not run servers that receive your data. Your game progress stays on your device. The app shows ads through Google AdMob and sells optional items through Google Play, and those Google services collect some device data as described below.
This policy covers the Sort Master app for Android (package com.sortmaster.game), published by Maaz Naeem ("we", "us").
Information stored on your device
The app saves your game data in local storage on your phone so you can continue where you left off. This data is never sent to us.
- Coins, stars and levels completed
- Hints remaining and the room theme you chose
- Which items you have unlocked (Premium Areas, Themes Pack, Remove Ads)
- Whether you claimed today's Daily Challenge bonus
Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes this data. Items you bought are restored from your Google Play account when you reinstall.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner ads, full-screen ads between levels, and optional rewarded ads that give you a hint. These ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects the following from your device to deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID | Ad delivery, frequency limits, personalised ads (if you allow them) |
| IP address and approximate location | Choosing relevant ads, fraud prevention |
| Device and app information (model, OS version, language, app version) | Showing ads that work on your device |
| Ad interactions (views, taps, rewards earned) | Measuring ad performance, granting rewards |
| Crash and performance diagnostics from the ads SDK | Keeping ads working reliably |
This data is sent directly to Google, not to us. Google processes it under the Google Privacy Policy and explains its ad practices at How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. If you decline, Google shows non-personalised ads, which use only limited data such as your approximate location.
If you buy Remove Ads, banner and between-level ads stop. Rewarded hint ads remain available but are always optional.
In-app purchases (Google Play)
Optional purchases (Hint Pack, Premium Areas, Themes Pack, Remove Ads) are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card number, bank details or billing address.
Google Play tells the app only which items your account owns and whether a payment is complete or pending. The app uses this to unlock your items and to restore them after a reinstall or on a new device. It is not sent anywhere else. Google handles payment data under the Google Payments Privacy Notice.
Permissions
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location or files. It uses only these permissions, none of which show a prompt:
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet and network state | Loading ads and connecting to Google Play |
Advertising ID (AD_ID, Ad Services) | Used by AdMob as described above |
| Google Play Billing | Making in-app purchases |
| Wake lock and foreground service | Used internally by the Google SDKs to finish background tasks |
Your choices
- Change your ad consent: open Shop and tap Privacy settings (shown in regions where consent applies).
- Limit personalised ads: on Android, go to Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads) to delete or reset your advertising ID.
- Stop non-rewarded ads: buy Remove Ads in the Shop.
- Delete your game data: uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings.
- Data held by Google: manage or delete it at myaccount.google.com.
Children
Sort Master is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app and want data removed, contact us and we will help you request deletion from Google.
Security, retention and transfers
Your game data stays on your device and is protected by Android's app sandbox. Data collected by Google is transferred over encrypted connections, may be processed in countries outside your own, and is kept according to Google's retention policies. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share any data with third parties other than Google as described above.
Changes and contact
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
